Any player can play at any location for free as long as they are a registered member of the Series 7 Poker League. Once they are registered and receive their membership number, they are registered for life, and use that number every time they check into a tournament.

Players can play at the location or locations of their choosing. The game is No Limit Texas Hold ’em, and the top 16 players from any tournament receive points. The better the player does, the more points they will receive. In addition to points, players will also have a chance to pick up special keys which are good for gifts, prizes, and entries into special tournaments.

Points are tracked 4 different ways so that players can see how they up against other players throughout the Series 7 Poker League:

• Points are tracked by location. The top point-getters at each location will be invited to a monthly championship for that location. The monthly championship is the last tournament for the month at that location. The winners of the monthly championship will get a key into the Super Series 7 Qualifier.
• Points are tracked by each series of 7 locations. The top 22 point-getters will get a key into the Super Series 7 Qualifier.
• Points are tracked by state.
• Points are tracked nationally. The top 7 point-getters in the national will get a key into the Series 7 Poker Championship.

The Super Series 7 Qualifier is an annual tournament held for each series of 7 locations. The winners of the monthly championships and the top 22 point-getters will be eligible to play in this tournament. The top 7 finishers in the Super Series 7 Qualifier will get a key into the Series 7 Poker Championship. The Winner of the Super Series 7 Qualifier Wins a Seat to The World Series of Poker.
